Philip J. Procacci, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Procacci Development Corporation (“PDC”) more than 45 years ago, is the driving force behind every aspect of the Company’s business operation
Being a small agile firm, PDC has responded to the ever-changing market conditions with creative innovative projects that cross multiple disciplines. PDC consistently builds quality properties for both the private and public sectors and professionally manages them for long-value creation. Responsiveness, flexibility, persistence and accountability have been the hallmarks of PDC’s success for decades.
Since inception of PDC, Philip has demonstrated proficiency developing in each of the major disciplines. In its formative years, PDC acquired and repurposed shopping centers and retail buildings for State and Federal government office uses. After sustaining casualties in several Florida hurricanes, Philip conceptualized a stronger, more resistant and more sustainable office and industrial building resulting in PDC’s “Procacci Strong” brand of buildings constructed to withstand 185 mph winds of a Category 5 hurricane without disrupting tenants’ everyday business operations. These features were incorporated in two successful Class A business campuses, Vista Center in West Palm Beach and Crossroads in Miami. PDC has also developed a unique platform and expertise in successful competition for build to suit office and warehouse buildings for the Federal government, including buildings in Miami, Orlando, Ft. Myers and Tampa. Just completed in 2017 is a brand new mission critical Federal GSA facility on the Miami River. Philip capped off the year by completing one of the first in new concept dual brand hotels, the 232-room Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton at Miami Dolphin Mall. This dual brand highly styled hotel in the Doral/Airport West market has reset the bar for each of its product types. Again, flexibility and innovation to meet a unique market demand.
Philip is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker, State of Florida Certified General Contractor, NAIOP Member, Member of ULI and The Beacon Council, a Supervisor of the Beacon Tradeport Community Development District, President of the Beacon Tradeport Industrial Park Association and a Vista Center Association Board Member. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
A resident of South Florida, Philip is an avid golfer.
